PARK HOUSE CHRONICLES: Last week the ARMADILLOS rocked the Park House so much that the airconditioning system broke in half. No worries, our stellar maintanance engineer “DENNY” was able to use duct tape to hold it together. There will be a new efficient environment friendly AC installed before the door opens on Wednesday (We hope). This week we will be celebrating two birthdays…ARI ~ bartender at the Park House and teaches elementary school grades K through Park House and…WES ~who is a recording engineer and musician with the GRAND PIANO band, that will be performing Friday at the Park House. Did you know that JORGE ( that’s the person who was secretly recruited by the mossad to work on the sound system) is a hypnotist? Yup! He told customers he could hypnotize me and make me speak fluent hebrew.

PARK HOUSE NEWS: Congratulations  &  Mazel Tov to Joe Dep!! aka the extraordinary banjo player from the Shelf  Life String Band! Our Joe is going off to college! He has been accepted to Berklee College of Music!! WooHoo!! Joe has been instrumental in bringing BLUEGRASS, Country and Rock to the Park House….and we are all better for it!  I, the Falafelmaster,  met Joe in 2009 and together we have created a  musical niche  on the Northside. Joe convinced popular bluegrass groups like  The Armadillos, MoonLighters, Well Strung,  Monriver Ramblers and Rumpke Mountain Boys ….among others,  to perform at the Park House. Joe devoted a lot of time and energy to the BlueGrass jams at the Park House. He promised that he’ll  return every Wednesday for Bluegrass Jam ( haha:), even while he is in college.  We’ll miss you, Joe… and your banjo playin’, but we wish you well!!

PARK HOUSE CHRONICLES: I am happy to report that Jorge and I are making great progress on the sound system at the Park House. The speakers are up and working.  My camouflage class at the Mossad Training Center paid off… Park House fans didn’t even notice the new speakers, but they sure could hear the difference!!
